Here We Go!

For fun and as an information resource, we have decided to start a blog about our homesteading experiences in the backwoods of Downeast Maine.

In August of 2016, we moved from southern Maine to rural Hancock County after buying our dream farmhouse and securing jobs in the area.

We are both teachers, trail runners, and have a passion for working towards self sustainability. This blog will chronicle our adventures as well as our misadventures and we hope you'll follow along. Welcome!
